29 CFR 1910.169(b)(3)(iii): Safety appliances such as safety valves, indicating devices and controlling devices, were not constructed, located, and/or installed so that they could not be readily rendered inoperative by any means, including the elements: On or about April 26, 2022,the employer exposed employees to a struck-by hazard from a high pressure hose on the air receiver tank that was not secured with a whip restraint.

29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about April 26, 2022, the employer did not provide an emergency shower or eyewash station near the engine room where batteries are used free of an unobstructed path. The emergency shower and eyewash station were not accessible within 10 seconds to reach. Batteries are corrosive due to the sulfuric acid solution. This condition exposed employees to chemical burn hazards.
