29 CFR 1910.145(c)(2)(i): Caution signs were not used to warn against potential hazards or to caution against unsafe practices: a.) Tapco Tube Company; Yoder M3 tube mill - On or about 5/3/22, signs were not posted to caution employees to not wear gloves while feeling the parts for roll marks. Additionally, signage was not posted to caution employees to only feel the pipes on the outfeed side of the rollers. b.) Tapco Tube Company; Yoder M3 tube mill - On or about 5/3/22, signs were not posted to caution employees to not place their hands on the inside/infeed side of the rollers and to only place hands on the outfeed side of the rollers when feeling pipes. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1904.41(a)(1): The establishment had 250 or more employees at any time during the previous calendar year, which required the establishment to keep records and electronically submit the information from the three recordkeeping forms: a.) Tapco Tube Company - As of 5/16/22, the company had not submitted the 2021 injury and illness data. The establishment employed 80 employees during calendar year 2021 and was required to submit the data by March 2, 2022.
