29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that the floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. The employer did not ensure that when wet processes are used, drainage is be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats are provided. A.) The Tapco Tube Company, Line 1, On or about 4/24/24 and times prior thereto: Accumulation of coolant from the tube mill operation was located on the floor around the tube mill. The accumulation presented a slip and fall hazard. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The Tapco Tube Company, Tooling Area, On or about 4/24/24 and times prior thereto: Caution Label attached to equipment were not legible due to the message being worn off. Equipment Includes but is not limited to Trak DPM Serial # 96-2350. B.) The Tapco Tube Company, Line 1, On or about 4/24/24 and times prior thereto: Danger labels attached to equipment were not legible due to the message being worn off. Equipment including but is not limited to the blue bonnet on the tube mill. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). The power cord being used to power the automatic mode sensor on the Bridgeport Mill Serial #155707 was wrapped with electrical tape.
