29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Tent 1882: a) Food/ Beverage Area: An open sided platform 9 to 12-feet, 9-inches from the ground level, used to access the kitchen area, was not protected with a guardrail system. On June 8, 2022 a worker fell from the unguarded open sided platform. b) Hospitality Area: An open sided platform 6-feet from ground level, used to access the hospitality area, was not protected with a guardrail system.
