The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) Jobsite: 1370 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19123 - The employer did not provide a training program for each employee conducting residential framing activities in the recognition and avoidance of fall hazards. Employees were working next to the unprotected sides and edges of the 4th & 5th levels of a residential building exposed to falls ofapproximately 27-36 feet above the ground level. Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) Jobsite: 1370 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19123 - Building #14- On or about June 9, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees conducting framing operations on the 5th level of the residential construction building, approximately 36 feet above the ground level, were protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system. b) Jobsite: 1370 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19123 - building #14- On or about June 9, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees conducting framing operations on the 4th level of the residential construction building, approximately 27 feet above the ground level, were protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system. BCG Contractor Corp was previously cited for a violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1563153, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 7, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 17 W Main St., Bound Brook, NJ 08805.
