29 CFR  1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a) In the D-Pile Area, on or about July 18, 2022 - Employees pour Caustic Cleaner from a tote and pump Lynx CL from a 55-gallon drum into buckets. The portable gravity-fed eye wash station provided by the employer in the work area was not suitable because it did not have a sufficient volume of flushing fluid to supply flushing for a minimum 15-minute period. The tank of the portable gravity-fed eye wash station was filled beneath the 15-minute fill line with flushing fluid.  b) In the Filler Room, on or about July 18, 2022 - Employees pour Caustic Cleaner from a bucket into an equipment canister. The employer did not provide facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes within the work area for immediate emergency use.
