29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazards created by in-going nip points, rotating parts, and/or flying chips and sparks: WORKSHOP/TAPING DEPARTMENT: On or about September 1, 2022, the ingoing nip points at the puller belts of Taping machines #1, #14, and #15 were unguarded as described below: 1. #1 Taping machine; left side of the puller belt and partially unguarded below the guard on the front of the belt. 2. #14 Taping machine; left side of the puller belt, unguarded. 3. #15 Taping machine; left side of the puller belt, unguarded.
