29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a) On October 14, 2022, employees performing masonry work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately five stories from the roof of a commercial structure.

29 CFR  1926.1052(c)(1)(ii):  Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with one stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge:      a) On October 14, 2022, employees were using a stairway to access the roof of a five story building from the ground.  The stairway that was utilized was not equipped with a stair rail system on either unprotected side.
