29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a)  On or about August 15, 2023, employees performing masonry work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 22.4 feet  General Masonry LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926. 501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1628377, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 6, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4453 N Hazel St., Chicago, IL 60640.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
