29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6):The employer used written materials, such as signs, placards, process sheets, or batch tickets in lieu of affixing labels to individual stationary process containers that failed to identify the container(s) to which they were applicable and did not convey the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5): (a) Western Foundries, Inc., 100 S. Martin St., Longmont, 80501: On or before October 26, 2022 the employer did not have adequate labels on chemical containers in the workplace. An unlabeled container was located the molding area. It was determined that the contents of the container was of Pep Set X 3502 Catalyst PL363. This condition exposed employees to hazards associated with an unknown chemical. (b) Western Foundries, Inc., 100 S. Martin St., Longmont, 80501: On or before October 26, 2022 the employer did not have adequate labels on chemical containers in the workplace. A container labeled as "Binder" was located in the molding area. It was determined that the contents of that container was Pep Set Magna I 1215 Binder . This condition exposed employees to hazards associated with an unknown chemical. (c) Western Foundries, Inc., 100 S. Martin St., Longmont, 80501: On or before October 26, 2022 the employer did not have adequate labels on chemical containers in the workplace. A 55 gallon barrel in the molding area was labeled "Nova Set 620" with no additional information. The labeling was not adequate to inform employees of hazards associated with the chemical.
