29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about November 10, 2022, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 1925 Wales Rd NE, Massillon Ohio 44646; the employer did not ensure that all employees working on the roof single family residential home were protected from a fall of approximately 18.8 feet by utilizing a fall protection system. MEJIA ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(B)(11) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1326767, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (7/23/2018), with respect to a workplace located at Lot 10C, 34580 Jude CT, Willoughby, Ohio 44094.
