Located at 7078 Fenwick Street Pickerington, Ohio: On or about February 21, 2023, an employee was performing residential framing work from the top of a five foot tall ladder in the garage area, thereby exposed to an approximately five foot fall to the ground below.  b. 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1): It shall be the responsibility of the employer to initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part.  a. Located at 7078 Fenwick Street Pickerington, Ohio: On or about February 21, 2023, the employer did not maintain an effective safety and health program to ensure that fall hazards were identified and corrected onsite while employees performed residential framing activities from ladders and elevated surfaces.  Alfredo Sanchez was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1510955, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 15, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 11586 Orchid Hill Drive, Plain City, OH 43064.  Alfredo Sanchez was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1496326, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 127, Preservation Way, Pickerington, OH 43147.

Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.  a. Located at 7078 Fenwick Street Pickerington, Ohio: On or about February 21, 2023, the employer did not ensure that an employee was protected from fall hazards while performing framing work from the stud walls, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards of up to approximately ten feet.
