29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1) as required by 1960.8(b): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use: Department of Defense, Defense Commissary Agency, Selfridge ANG Commissary worksite located at Building 701, George Street, Selfridge ANGB, MI 48045: On or about March 29, 2023, the employer had not obtained safety data sheets for each of the hazardous chemicals in the workplace such as but not limited to Potassium Hydroxide which is included in Earth Smart Mighty Mikes Non-butyl Cleaner Degreaser and is used by employees to clean the chicken storage areas. The Department of Defense, Defense Commissary Agency, Selfridge ANG Commissary was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1), as required by 29 CFR 1960.8(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1452160, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on May 15, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at Building 701, George Street, Selfridge ANGB, MI 48045.
