Godard, KS, employees engaged in residential roofing activities from a 8:12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet 8 inches from the eve to the ground below while accessing and egressing the roof. The portable extension ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing or was not secured to the residence/structure.
