29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At the job site located at 4928/4930 North Vassar Ave., Wichita, Kansas, employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9.8 feet from the eave of the roof to the ground below in that fall protection was not utilized. Agustin Rojas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1664924, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 06-28-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 226 S. Wellcrest Ct., Goddard, KS 67052.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: At the job site located at 4928/4930 North Vassar Ave., Wichita, Kansas, employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9.8 feet from the eave of the residence to the ground below while accessing and egressing the roof. The portable extension ladders did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface or were not secured to the residence. Agustin Rojas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1664924, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 06-28-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 226 S. Wellcrest Ct., Goddard, KS 67052.
