29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  At the temporary jobsite located at 12055 West Arvada Boulevard Wichita, Kansas, employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to chemical hazards due to the employer not having a written hazard communication program to follow at the job site.  Employees were handling Timberline NS asphalt shingles, DAP all purpose silicone sealant, and gasoline. The chemical hazards associated with these chemicals include: skin and eye irritation, drowsiness and/or dizziness, nausea and/or vomiting, upper respiratory irritation, and may cause cancer. Additionally, gasoline, can act as a fueling agents due to their extreme flammability as a liquid and vapor.  Agustin Rojas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(e)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1826878, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 07-30-2025, with respect to a workplace located at 4928/4930 North Vassar Ave. Wichita, KS 67220.  Agustin Rojas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1667776, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on 06-28-2023, with respect to a workplace located at  226 S. Wellcrest Ct., Goddard, KS 67052.
