29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed: At this jobsite located at 9810 Monticello Rd. Lenexa, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards in that the Werner 8-foot fiberglass A frame ladder was being used as a straight ladder which is not in accordance with the manufacturer's intended purpose for use. The employees were using the Werner 8-foot A frame ladder to access the 10-feet high second floor.
