At a new temporary residential worksite located at 5405 Moret Drive East, Jacksonville, FL 32210: On or about May 9, 2023, the employer exposed four employees to fall hazards, in that employees utilized the top steps of two 6-foot A-frame stepladders to access the top wall while setting trusses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a. At a new residential worksite, located at 5405 Moret Drive East, Jacksonville, FL 32211: On or about May 9, 2023, the employer exposed employees to an 8-foot fall hazard, in that fall protection was not utilized by employees who walked and stood on a wall, while setting trusses. M.G. Residential Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1647704, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on March 20, 2023 , with respect to a workplace located at 4101 San Pablo Parkway, Olea at Beach Haven, Jacksonville, FL 32224. M.G. Residential Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1559113, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on December 15, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2023 Dutton Island Oaks Way, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233.
