29 CFR  1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:  (a) On or about May 31, 2023,  an employee was servicing a pneumatic cylinder on the Line A production line, and did not utilize the specific procedure to isolate and bleed off the pneumatic cylinder air pressure prior to replacing a rubber gasket on the piston.   This exposed employees to a crushing and amputation hazard.  The Garden-Fresh Foods was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1594705, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 10-25-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 726 South 12th Street in Milwaukee, WI .

This exposed employees to a crushing and struck by hazard.
