29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) Job site, 1616 Chateau Street, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about August 18, 2023, during scaffold erection activities, the employer did not ensure that employees used appropriate head protection while lifting scaffold planking from ground level up to an employee on the scaffold, exposing him to the hazard of being struck in the head if the board fell down onto him.
