29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2)(iv):Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment shall not be used to support scaffold platforms unless they have been specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use.  On August 29, 2023, at a commercial worksite located at 9110 NW 64th St, Parkville MO, the employer used an off-terrain fork truck to support scaffold platforms that had not been specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use. A pallet was raised in the air via an off-terrain fork truck so that the foreman could apply waterproofing to the exterior of the building. This exposed the foreman to a fall hazard greater than 10 feet to ground level.

On August 29, 2023, at a commercial worksite located at 9110 NW 64th St, Parkville MO, the employer did not ensure employees engaged in framing duties using staplers and hammers were wearing eye protection. This exposed the employees to getting debris in their eyes and causing injury.   RF Construction Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1443902, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 15, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 5841 NW 72nd St, KC MO 64151.  RF Construction Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1547532, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 8, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 18902 E 40 Hwy, Independence MO 64055.
