29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): The employer permitted employees to work in close proximity to energized, unguarded, and ungrounded electric power circuits that the employee could contact in the course of their work: a) Worksite 35-37 Foundry Street Woonsocket, RI: On or about October 9. 2023, two employees were not protected, while working around energized power lines, by de-energizing, grounding the lines or by insulation or other means when the employer working along with his employees were moving an aluminum extension ladder in close proximity to the energized 13.8KV power lines which exposed them to electric shock hazards.
