29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:  At jobsite located at 2321 N. Sagebrush Street Wichita, Kansas - Employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to injuries associated with fall hazards and struck-by hazards in that the employer had not provided the employees with training to recognize, evaluate, and control the hazards. Employees working at jobsite without using fall protection, eye protection, and not certify to operate the orange Sky-Trak Terrance Forklift.  Brent Lawrenz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1635210, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03-03-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4501 Bluestem Maize, Kansas.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  At jobsite 2321 N. Sagebrush Street, Wichita, KS 67230 - Employees engaged in residential framing activities using pneumatic nail guns and saw were exposed to struck by hazards in that eye protections were not provided and utilized. a) One employee (orange sweatshirt) was observed using the circular saw to cut wood, and then using the hammer on the ground level in front of the house. b) One employee (green sweatshirt) was observed using the pneumatic nail gun on the back of the house.  Brent Lawrenz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1635210, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 03-03-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4501 Bluestem Maize, Kansas. 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:   At 2321 N. Sagebrush Street Wichita, Kansas 67230, employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employee was engaged in residential framing activities, walking and working on the top plates/top sheets above the garage by the front of the house, was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet 8 inches from the top plate to the exterior ground below in that fall protection was not utilized.  Brent Lawrenz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1653929, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09-25-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 11710 E. BrookView Cir. Wichita, Kansas.
