29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  The employer failed to require employees to use any form of fall protection when engaged in framing activities for residential construction, exposing them to fall hazards.  This was most recently documented on September 12, 2025, at 16410 Shade St. Goddard, KS, where employees were exposed to fall hazards when they engaged in residential framing activities at heights greater than 6 feet above ground level and did not use any form of fall protection.  To abate this violation, the employer must ensure its employees engaged in residential framing activities are protected from fall hazards, and that no employee is allowed to work at heights of 6 feet or more above a lower level without adequate fall protection. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance at future worksites, including a description of how these steps protect its employees from fall hazards.   Brent Lawrenz DBA BML Construction  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1810293, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/02/2025, with respect to a workplace located at 9631 Wilkinson Ct. Maize, KS 67101.
