29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about 10/30/2023, the employer did not protect employees who were engaged in residential roofing operations 6ft (1.8m) or more above lower levels while at the job site located at 123 Prairie Wind Dr., Wentzville, MO. The employees were conducting residential roofing operations and were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately ten (10) feet. Moose Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1390452, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/26/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2147 Asher Court in O'Fallon, MO.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about 10/30/2023, the employer did not ensure portable ladders were constructed and placed so three (3) feet or more were extended above the upper landing at a job site located at 123 Prairie Wind Dr., Wentzville, MO. Workers performing residential construction were exposed to falling approximately ten (10) feet while using a straight ladder to ascend/descend from the ground level to the roof. Moose Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1390452, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on 6/26/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2147 Asher Court in O'Fallon, MO.
