29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. In the pallet manufacturing plant at the Baker resaw, employee(s) engaged in woodworking activities were exposed to explosion and fire hazards in that combustible wood dust with a severity explosion level of 1.47 was accumulated over 2 inches in height in and around 3 ignition sources. The resaw and ignition sources are as follows: Make: Ellington Manufacturing Inc. Model: Baker Band Resaw; Color: Blue and Yellow; Serial # Unknown. Ignition Sources: 1. A 470 volt electrical box attached to the front of the resaw, 2. One drive drive motor in the middle of the resaw on top. 3. One drive motor at the end of the resaw at waist height.
