29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 2/26/2024, at 1110 Clyde-Marengo Rd., Clyde NY 14433: Employees were installing trusses on top of truss carriers that were 20 feet above the ground without fall protection. Employees were exposed to falls in excess of 20 feet. Martin Builders Enterprise, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1665405, citation number 1, item number 1(a) and was affirmed as a final order on 10/11/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4975 Main St., North Rose NY.
