29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use:  On or about March 13, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was standing on a piece a of plywood that was on the forks of an all-terrain forklift performing carpentry work. The platform was not properly secured to the lift and the employee had no controls for operation of the lift. The employee did not have any guard rails or any protection from falling  exposing the employee to a fall of approximately 12.8 feet above ground.  Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

TBR Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1711272, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on February 28, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 12283 Copper Ridge Ct., Lemont IL 60439.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
