This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to eye irritation and/or moderate to severe chemical burns.

29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Each circular hand-fed ripsaw was not guarded by a hood which was completely enclose that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut. Maintenance office / Storage: On or before 05/14/2024 a Bosch 10 inch table saw model GTA47W was not provided with a blade guard that adjust to the thickness of the materials being cut and remain in contact with it. Employees were exposed to amputation related injuries. The National Park Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1430593, citation number 02, item number 04 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/25/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 5000 Hwy 146, Paicines, CA 95043.
