29 CFR 1926.501(b)(3):Each employee in a hoist area was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8m) or more to lower levels by guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems: Location: 1085 Bloomfield Ave., West Caldwell, NJ 07006 a: The employer did not ensure that each employee was protected from hazards associated with falls. Employees were hoisting materials through a wall opening at a height of 13 feet from the immediate landing surface without any means of fall protection. Violation occurred on or about June 6, 2024. New Zyland Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1718697, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4-25-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 100 Deforest Ave. East Hanover, NJ 07936.
