29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a. On or about June 18, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential carpentry operations, fourteen (14) feet ten (10) inches above ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. b. On or about June 18, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing residential carpentry operations, eleven (11) feet two (2) inches above ground, was not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards. Armadores Tepa Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1607482, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 25, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 31 Mayfield Dr. in Frankfort, Illinois. Armadores Tepa Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1564443, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 14, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 22893 Sara Spring Dr. in Frankfort, Illinois.
