29 CFR 1926.451(b)(3): Except as provided in paragraphs (b)(3)(i) and (ii) of this section, the front edge of all platforms shall not be more than 14 inches (36 cm) from the face of the work, unless guardrail systems are erected along the front edge and/or personal fall arrest systems are used in accordance with paragraph (g) of this section to protect employees from falling. A) 968 Bonnel Ct Union, NJ 07083 - The employer did not ensure that the work platform was less than 14 inches from the face of the work. The work platform was approximately 24 inches from the structure. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards. Hazards observed on or about October 1, 2024.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: A) 968 Bonnel Ct Union, NJ 07083 - The employer did not ensure employees working from scaffolds were protected from falls. The side of the scaffold facing the structure did not have a fall protection system exposing employees fall hazards of approx. 21 ft. Hazards observed on or about October 1, 2024.
