OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-in-between hazards associated with a structural building collapse. a) 450 Commerce Lane, Berlin, NJ 08009: Employees were caught in a structural collapse of roof trusses during the construction of a 124' X 80' building. Roof trusses were not adequately braced as the roof truss installation progressed. Shortly after a bundle of 2 X 4's was landed on some of the trusses approximately half of the building's trusses collapsed. On or about 10/10/2024.
