29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about 11/21/2024, while in the process of framing a third-story residential building located at 16657 Promenade St. in Broomfield, CO, employees were not protected from a fall of approximately 30 feet. The employer failed to ensure that conventional fall protection such as, but not limited to, ropes and/or a retractable fall protection device, harness lanyard, anchor points (etc.) were used by employees when completing construction activities.
