29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: Building 25: On December 3, 2024 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that portable fire extinguishers were subjected to an annual maintenance check. Maintenance checks are to ensure that all parts of portable fire extinguishers, including internal components, are in good working order. This condition potentially exposed employees to fire hazards.
