On or about December 18, 2024, an employee performed jam-clearing activities on an Eagle Strip Cutter XD-906Y machine while the equipment was energized and operational.  The employer did not ensure that the cutter was disconnected from its electrical energy source prior to performing the servicing activity, thereby exposing the employee to caught-in hazards created from unexpected movement of the machine.   Master Magnetics, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of its equivalent Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1512903, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 28, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1211 Atchison Court, Castle Rock, CO 80109.
