29 CFR 1918.66(a)(1): Cranes and derricks were not certificated in accordance with 29 CFR Part 1919. F/V Starfish: On or about March 6, 2025, employees performing longshoring operations while using the on-board crane were exposed to struck-by hazards in that the onboard crane was not certified in accordance with 29 CFR Part 1919. Not certifying the crane in accordance with 29 CFR Part 1919 increases the likelihood of a crane collapse or failure.
