29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring, motors, and other equipment outside of but within twenty (20) feet of any spray area, and not separated therefrom by partitions, produced sparks under normal operating conditions and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part for Class I, Division 2 Hazardous Locations: a)Trail King Industries, Inc., at 300 East Norway Avenue, Mitchell, SD 57301: On or about and at times prior to March 10, 2025, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fire hazards when mixing paint and operating the Graco Paint Systems outside of the paint booth in that electrical equipment within 20 feet of the Graco Paint Systems did conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part for Class I, Division 2 Hazardous locations. This condition exposed employees to fire hazards.

This condition exposed employees to lacerations and pinch-point hazards.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a)Trail King Industries, Inc., at 300 East Norway Avenue, Mitchell, SD 57301: On or about and at times prior to March 10, 2025, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from lacerations and pinch-point hazards when operating the Fab Center Sales Metal Muncher Model: MM-125A in that the feed and outgoing end of the angle shear was not appropriately guarded to prevent employee access to the point of operation. This condition exposed employees to lacerations and pinch-point hazards. b)Trail King Industries, Inc., at 300 East Norway Avenue, Mitchell, SD 57301: On or about and at times prior to March 10, 2025, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from lacerations and pinch-point hazards when operating the Fab Center Sales Metal Muncher Model: MM-125A in that the rear of the flat bar/plate shear was not appropriately guarded to prevent employee access to the point of operation. This condition exposed employees to lacerations and pinch-point hazards.
