29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: Supervisors Office, Fleet maintenance shop: On or about May 12, 2025, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not assure that all portable fire extinguishers are subjected to an annual maintenance check, such as, but not limited to, the extinguishers last inspected in 2019. The USDA Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1469479, citation number 02, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on 05/26/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Mi-Wok Ranger District24695 Hwy 108, Mi Wuk Village, CA 95346
