Employees were exposed to fire and electrical hazards. The Army & Air Force Exchange Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1650103, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/27/23, with respect to a workplace located at Hickam Exchange Building 1235, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: Warehouse, Loading Dock: the electrical knife switch for the store condensing unit was blocked by movable rolling retail racks and shelving components as storage. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards. The Army & Air Force Exchange Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1650103, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/27/23, with respect to a workplace located at Hickam Exchange Building 1235 on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam.
