Facilities Shop Carpenter Area: On or about January 27, 2026, and at times prior to, the DeWalt Type 22 Double-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw was not properly anchored to prevent movement during operation. This condition potentially exposed employees to struck by and/or amputation hazards. Desert Diamond Casino was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.212(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1758780, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 20, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 1100 Pima Mine Rd., Sahuarita, AZ 85629.
