29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, shall be rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level: a- 4000 Victoria Drive, Building 8, Delran NJ: A worker, installing bracing into newly installed floor trusses, and performing other related activities from a commercial structure's second floor unprotected edges and sides, was exposed to fall hazards (in excess of 10 feet 1 inch to the concrete flooring and ground surface below) when their full body harness was connected to a self retracting life line whose housing was anchored with unprotected nylon rope wrapped, singularly, around two, unrated, upper wooden 2 x 4s floor truss chords. Condition observed on or about 02/25/26. b - 4000 Victoria Drive, Building 8, Delran NJ: A worker, installing floor trusses, and performing other related activities from a commercial structure's second floor unprotected edges and sides, was exposed to fall hazards (in excess of 10 feet 1 inch to the concrete flooring and ground surface below) when using a self retracting lifeline that was improperly used and whose housing was improperly set, thus not complying with the self retracting lifeline manufacturer's use and installation requirements. Condition observed on or about 02/25/26.

Condition observed on or about 02/25/26. b - 4000 Victoria Drive, Building 8, Delran NJ: A company worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 10 feet 6 inches, while working at and near the unprotected edges of a commercial structure's second floor perimeter without fall protection. Condition observed on or about 2/25/26. Easy Work Contractors Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1837793, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 18, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 32 Vanzandt Drive, Titusville NJ.
