I was responding to a bed alarm set off by a patient in room 4712 at [REDACTED].

Upon entering the room I lowered the patient to the floor. During this process I felt a pop in my right groin. Initially I shook it out but the pain started to intensify when I went into another patient’s room.

The injury involved a strain in the right groin area. Specifically the muscles in my right groin were strained causing a popping sensation followed by increasing pain

The object that directly harmed the employee was the patient contact Push pull over exertion. The physical effort required to lower the patient to the floor caused the strain in my right groin.

The injury involved a strain or tear in the right groin area.
