Before the incident
On [REDACTED] at approx. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] sprain his left ankle after approaching a curbside mailbox. [REDACTED] stated that he exited the [REDACTED] because there was a work truck ahead of him and he could not place the mail into the mailbox safely without walking up to the receptacle. As he walked toward the mailbox his left foot slip on yard debris that came from the previous day Hurricane weather. He alerted his supervisor immediately & he completed his deliveries before returning to the station. He asked for medical attention. His medical report put him out of work for a week.
