What happened
At about [REDACTED] Temp worker working on body maker 30 went to open the discharge cover. Employee states that he opened it with one hand only. He had his left hand placed on top of the discharge brush assembly. Employee did not fully open the guard which caused it to fall back down on to his left hand. His hand was pushed in to the assembly leading to a cut on his left palm. Employee reported the event to the shift supervisor. He was then transported over to the emergency center where they applied medical glue to his injury. He was discharged with no restrictions and was given Doxycycline as a precaution for infections.
