Change over duties

Employee 1 was working a changeover on decorator 3B. Employee 2 was also working on the decorator on the same lift. Employee was using the registration T-Handle tool to on the decorator. Employee 2 began to raise the lift. Employee 1 's hand was caught in between the registration tool and the kick plate of the lift. Employee 2 lowered the lift and employee 1 was able to remove it. Employee 1 then reported to supervisor about what had occurred. He then proceeded to go to Concentra to get the injury checked out. He suffered no fractures or broken bones. He only had slight cuts on his ring and pinkie finger but no stitches were required. He was not prescribed any medication. Employee was released with a return to work in 2 days note from the doctor.
