On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] employee working in accupan suffered an injury to their left hand Employee was cleaning their area when they noticed some dough had slipped through and fell onto underlying conveyor pieces Employee went to reach roughly 2 feet under the running conveyor Panomat to retrieve and clean the area when their left hand was caught by the conveyor and pulled towards the gears resulting in several lacerations cuts and bruises Employee immediately reported the incident to their supervisor Employee was sent out to outside medical and did return with restriction Due to restrictions this incident is a recordable Employee has been employed for 11 months and 6 of those working on accupan SOP is to wait until change over when running equipment is off to clean areas around conveyor The employee stated they take pride in keeping their area clean so they wanted to clean as they went and additionally didnt think there was enough time during change over to clean all
