Before the incident

Team member was in the process of pushing a 110 roll into the lowerator He then noticed that the roll was too far to fit He asked another team member to get the clamp truck and help realign the roll When the roll was released from the clamp truck into the lowerator the kicker pushed the roll back out He attempted to use the roll pusher but stated that it was slipping on the roll and not pushing too well He was able to get some momentum in the roll with the pusher but reached up to finish rolling it by hand His left hand was on the outside of the roll as he pushed and was caught between the roll and the frame of the lowerator injuring his middle and ring fingers Team member immediately reported the incident and was transported to urgent care for treatment and further evaluation
