While changing 3rd section ropes the team member attempted to move a rope spool cart laterally which caused the shaft the spool was on to come out of the saddle This resulted in the end of the spool to dropping off the cart When the spool dropped the team members left ring finger got pinched between the spool and the frame of the cart causing a crushing injury and small laceration Team member was taken for physician followup where an xray revealed a small fracture and received 2 stitches for the laceration
