working on a support bar

The ends on a support bar needed to be moved. He was rotating the bar counterclockwise and the left side of the bar slipped off the block it was sitting on and fell on his left ring finger pinching it between the bar and the welding table itself. The fall was approximately 3 inches from the placement on the block to the point where it pinched his finger. His hands were placed toward the middle of the bar when it slipped and gained momentum until the point where his finger was pinched. The bar was 130 long and weighed 17lbs.
